Get ready for the most exciting season in collegiate pickleball! The National Collegiate Pickleball Association (NCPA) hosts seven regional events across the country, where hundreds of universities and thousands of college athletes battle it out for a chance to join the Top 64 Teams at the National Championship.

But that’s just the beginning.

The NCPA also supports year-round tournaments and fundraisers, helping college clubs grow and compete across the nation outside of regionals and nationals. Whether you're chasing a national title or just getting your club off the ground, there are multiple opportunities to get involved and get competitive. Division 1 (D1) – Team Bracket (4.0+)

  • Format: MLP-style + Singles

  • Compete in regionals to earn your official bid to Nationals and face off against the top collegiate pickleball talent in the country.

Division 2 (D2) – Challenger Individual Brackets (4.0+)

  • Play as an individual, not in teams.

  • 5 Brackets: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Mixed Doubles

  • Open to all college athletes.

  • Compete for awesome prizes like gear and paddles and with certain events, thousands of dollars—plus the experience of competing at a high level.

Division 3 (D3) – Challenger Individual Brackets (3.0–4.0)

  • Same bracket setup as D2, but geared toward intermediate players.

  • Perfect for athletes looking to level up and get more experience.

  • Every match counts. Every point counts.

  • Players receive official NCPA Ratings, ranking them against thousands nationwide.

  • Universities are ranked solely on placement, giving a true reflection of performance on the court.

  • Only results from official NCPA events count toward rankings and ratings.

Eligibility Requirements 

  • Currently enrolled taking a minimum of six credit hours.​​​​​​​

  • Have not signed professionally for any pro tour.

    • Players that have played in pro tournament draws are still eligible to compete.​

​

Additional Information: If you qualified for Nationals in one of the regional championships over the fall but graduate before Nationals takes place in the spring, you are still allowed to compete as you were eligible when you qualified.
